Reggia di Caserta

Defined by some as the Neapolitan Versailles, the mind-blowing royal palace of Caserta is one of the most spectacular Bourbon palaces.
Commissioned by the king Carlo di Borbone, it is today one of the most important monuments in the south of Italy.
It houses the royal apartments, the beautiful throne room, the court theatre and the wonderful gardens.
