Monumental Napoli: the Royal Palace, the castles and the promenade

A visit to the city cannot be full without a tour to the so-called Monumental Napoli. It starts from the Castel Nuovo (or Maschio Angioino), and then heads towards the fantastic Piazza del Plebiscito, dominated by the imposing shape of the Royal Palace and the church of San Francesco di Paola. It continues with a relaxing walk along the promenade, until we reach Castel dell’Ovo, the most romantic fortress in the city.
