The archaeological park of Cuma and the Sibyl’s cave
Addovà takes you on a visit to the most significant and perhaps least known archaeological park in Campania.
Cuma, an ancient Greek colony, preserves valuable temples within its archaeological area. In the area of the acropolis, there are the remains of an early Christian baptistery, and last but not least the mysterious cave named Sibilla Cumana, often mentioned by the poet Virgilio.
The incredible vegetation and the amazing views make this site even richer and more suggestive, without even mentioning the forum of the ancient city, which cannot be visited yet, but that, visible from afar, makes this gem of local archaeology even more impressive.
